Licence Agreement and Author Copyright

Authors publishing in THE INCUBATOR: Journal of Postgraduate Studies, Federal University of Lafia retain the copyright to their work. By submitting a manuscript and accepting publication in the journal, the author(s) agree to grant the journal a non-exclusive Licence to Publish. This licence permits the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, index, and disseminate the article in print and electronic formats, including through recognised databases, repositories, and other lawful scholarly platforms.

Because the licence granted to the journal is non-exclusive, authors remain free to use, share, reproduce, and distribute their published work, provided that full acknowledgement is given to the journal as the original place of publication. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is original, does not infringe the rights of any third party, and contains no material that is unlawful, defamatory, or misleading.

If a manuscript is not accepted for publication, the licence automatically terminates and all rights remain fully with the author(s). This policy supports the journal’s open-access mission while ensuring that authors retain ownership of their intellectual work and that the journal has the necessary rights to publish and preserve the scholarly record.
